Some of the world's most talented female drummers have joined forces to release a Christmas single to help raise awareness of mental health issues in young people in music.

Had a message yesterday from Josie O'Toole explaining a new project she and Laurie buchanan had been involved in. Here's what she had to say.
We are delighted to share with you news of an amazing charity project we were recently involved with alongside a stellar cast of musicians in conjunction with The Echo Lab Music Studios!
“It’s an honour to be involved in such a unique project supporting two amazing causes. Hats off to organiser Charlotte Bibby for rounding up quite a cast of female musicians in the midst of a global pandemic and making this happen. Let’s hope word spreads far and wide and raises lots of cash for Action for Children and Tiny Changes.”
18 female musicians from the UK and US (including members/ex-members of The Darkness/Skunk Anansie/Simple Minds/KT Tunstell's band etc.) have added a kickass twist to the classic Christmas track ‘Little Drummer Boy’ by individually recording their own unique take - and produced ‘Little Drummer Girl’. All arranged and co-ordinated by drummer Charlotte and producer Kerr from The Echo Lab Music Studios in Scotland. The inspiration for this project came from Charlotte's joint desire to raise awareness of the mental health issues that affect young musicians, while also raising the profile of female musicians.

All funds raised go towards supporting two very worthwhile causes: Tiny Changes (supporting mental health in young adults) and Action for Children.
